Consulting Services

My mission is to advise my clients to achieve their most ambitious goals. Most of my experience is in the retail and consumer products sectors, two industries that are undergoing major transformations to meet ever-changing consumer needs and to keep up with global competition. My services are divided into two main offerings: management consulting services and interim executive staffing.

Management Consulting

My management consulting services revolve around three key pillars: strategic planning, profit optimization, and project management.

Plan Strategy

I perform research around trends, innovation, market, consumers and competitors to set the context for your strategic plan. I hold executive workshops to identify your priorities and business objectives using innovative techniques such as design thinking to foster outside-the-box ideas. I create strategic plans and build supporting business cases to quantify the cost-benefit of the selected strategies. I draw upon agile principles to help you launch your top strategic priorities to enable your teams to be empowered and have the tools to accomplish your goals (see ‘manage projects’ section).

Optimize Profits

I perform exhaustive diagnostics including stakeholder interviews and various analyses in the areas of marketing, operations, finance, organizational design, innovation, etc. to identify business improvement opportunities. I quantify the business improvement opportunities to understand their impact on revenue growth, cost reduction, and ultimately bottom line improvement. I prioritize the improvement opportunities against your business objectives and profitability improvement goals. I can help you launch the selected improvement opportunities (see ‘manage projects’ section).

Manage Projects

I lead your most complex cross-functional projects using agile/Scrum methods to deliver tangible business results faster. I scope the work, segment it in small deliverables for two-week sprints, validate the output with key stakeholders every two weeks, and then re-prioritize and adapt the upcoming deliverables based on feedback. This agile method allows for faster project delivery by engaging cross-functional teams towards common goals, validating the output frequently, aligning stakeholders and providing transparency on the work conducted and re-prioritization. (I also know how to manage projects in traditional waterfall approaches, but most of my clients don’t want to go back to waterfall after they’ve experienced the agile way of working!)
